On August 24, 2023, the Swedish awareness raising seminar was held at Lund University, within the framework of the FAMIMOVE project.

Invitations to the seminar were sent out in early summer and more detailed documentation was sent out about two weeks before the seminar took place. In the documentation for the seminar, the FAMIMOVE project and the purpose of the awareness raising seminar were presented. Before the seminar, all participants were provided with an agenda, practical information and a detailed basis together with the issues to be discussed.

Thirteen participants were invited to attend the seminar, selected among the judiciary, the national migration agency and academic experts, and all were able to participate on site. The participants have expressed themselves very positively about participating in the project and they also expressed willingness to continue to be updated on how the project is progressing, underlining a strong explicit interest in arranging more similar meetings in the future.
